I can almost hear the Harmonium voicing Maxwell.. I love it, the colors are in perfect harmony, the pose, the feeling that your drawing inspire.. I like it. I like you.
Maxwell kinda look like Silverster Stalone though.

I'm not sure what to think of it, I guess you tried to give this drawing the 2.5 D feel that the game has, but this is poorly made, and in the overall result, it just look like you only put effort in the shading to mimic it, I don't know what your intentions were, so I won't extrapolate too much, but the colors looks dull, and boring, it's bland and it sucks HNNNNG.
You should have used brighter colors, just like in the game, it makes it feel more.. Alive, it gives an expression, emotions.
You also should have tried to make the drawing simpler, more abstract, since you seem to have issues with details, the knife is a mess, that or just put more effort in it.
The overall result looks uniform and shitty, it feels inconsistant, and does not inspire anything, to the person who's watching it.

It's nice to see you're studying armor design, it's a topic that I really enjoy, and I hope to see you make your own original drawings, since it's very rare to see armors that look both interesting aesthetically, and practical, it's often grotesque, fantasy-ish ridiculous things, I'll look forward for your work !

That's just adorable, keep up practicing, it's rare to see an art style that stand out in pixel art.

What program did you used btw ?

Ah thanks!
I used PaintTool SAI, drew the whole thing on 100x100 pixels canvas.
Saved as .PSD and moved to Photoshop.
Image>Image Size> 1000x1000 pixels, and set resampling to "Nearest Neighbor (Preserve Hard Edges)".
That way, you can resize your tiny little pixels canvas to a huge massive canvas without losing any quality :D
But this method only works on Pixel art.
